My catalog partition is 110GB. Currently, 35.5 GB are in use (about 32%), and 74GB are free (approximately 68%).
Lightroom Cache is 50GB and that's in a partition of it's own on a totally separate spindle (makes it easy when doing backups NOT to backup the cache)...
