The answer to your question is in the two previous posts.

 

But you might in any case consider using Eizo's own calibrator, probably bundled with your monitor. (You don't say which model, but "with a hood" implies a Color Edge or S/SX Flexscan). This will give you true hardware calibration - IOW the monitor's own internal hardware is adjusted instead of the video card.

 

But again, this sounds like monitor profile or non-color managed viewer (most likely the latter). That is probably a wide gamut model, which means you must have full color management or it will look garishly over-saturated.
