If you were a LR user pre Creative Cloud you are aware it has it's own [rather strange] method of updating.
Pre Creative Cloud LR just installed a complete new version and left all older versions in place [also installed]
LR still is not updated the way other Creative Cloud apps are.
I, also, had update issues when going from 4.1 to 4.3.
I, finally, just uninstalled LR through the windows control panel. Then, using the Application Manger, I started all over.
Even doing that, LR leaves old catalogs to clutter the folder structure.
Adobe sales 'promises' that some day LR will update as smooth as the other Creative Cloud apps.
