Install Lightroom on the new laptop. Copy your existing catalog and preview file to the new laptop, along with all of your images. If your image files are now on a different drive designation it will be necessary for you to use the controls within Lightroom to locate missing folders. But once you do that, you should be good to go. It would be a good idea if all of your images were within one master folder. Of course, within that folder you can have as many subfolders as you need. If you have your files organized this way it will be a lot easier to coordinate everything after you have everything on the new laptop.
