This is weird - I really can't explain it. I'm beginning to suspect that something funny is happening in the Lr export stage.
Nevertheless: try Adobe RGB as monitor profile just to rule that out.
eartho - no; this is not normal for a wide gamut display. It might be if there's massive gamut clipping, but I doubt that here.
