Re: Import problems in Lightroom 4.4
I checked and LR4.4 has all of the files listed above. Still not working... at this point LR will not import MOV files at all.

Maybe old images have been developed with older RAW processes (e.g. 2003 or 2010) and this is causing the error? You might try updating them to current process (2012): Develop > Camera Calibration...
View ArticleRe: Lightroom 4.4 dual monitor support
This may be a local issue because when I close LR with the second monitor enabled, it always subsequently opens with the second monitor enabled and never switches view unless I ask it to, with the...

George that message you have posted above tells nothing really, you need to expand the arrow at the bottom so we can see the report. Thanks.

I thank you for your response. I did indeed render 1:1 previews as you suggested, however, that unfortunately did not work. I have determined that this abnormal behavior at present is only happening...
View ArticleRe: Lightroom 4.4 Hangs on Import
I’m no developer but I guess LR would have to enumerate connected devices when the Import button is clicked so therein maybe the root cause. Perhaps an errant USB driver, disconnected network drive or...
View ArticleRe: Lightroom 4.4 Hangs on Import
Same thing here except it lists the D600 NEFS as unreadable even though the previews on import are visible. Yeah I've got stuff besides my SD card on a USB hub, but I had them there 2 hours before with...
View ArticleRe: Opening files in Lightroom 4
The LR catalogue does not store your image files, only links to them within your file system. If you move, rename or delete the file (outside of LR), LR loses the link and displays only the preview it...

For your point number 1: holding down the shift key while moving the sliders makes them much less sensitive. Give it a try. Hal
