Hi All,
I'm sure this has all been discussed before but I can't find the answer I need in any other discusion thread.
I use LR3 for most things, however, I do from time to time need to use PSE10 for retouching. I have opened all my files and selected
'open in external editor'
From here the dialogue shows asking me whether I wish to keep LR adjustments; I choose Yes then PSE10 launches-
All files are open as Tiff files in PSE10, where I edit them as 8 bit.
The problem from hereon is that contrary to all the books etc where it says simply press CTRL+S or save and do nothing else as LR3 will automatically show the edited PSD file next to original, it doesn't for me...
I only have the option to Save As; whereby I save the edited Tiff over the existing as I don't need the original tiff & don't want another copy. I choose no compression and save it in the same catalogue as LR3. It then shows in LR3.
I must be missing something fundamental here, so can anyone help? There has to be a straightforward way to CTRL+S & have the edited image visible in LR3 without the convoluted method I used...
By the way I'm sure I check 'Stack with original' before leaving LR3.
