I'm a noob to LR, this is probably a simple question but just want some clarification. Will exporting a catalog with DNG's allow me to re-import into lightroom if i so choose and show any changes that were made to the pictures (ie: the history for a specific file ; virtual copies) as well as include the originals even if i were to delete the ones i originally imported from my CF card.
I essentially want to create a master backup for each event i am photographing at, and export each event as it's own catalog.
