I also have a suggestion regarding your workflow. You indicated that you "no longer needed the raw images" because you have exported your JPEG images. Your raw images should be considered your master images, and you export JPEG images for different purposes such as e-mail, or to send to a lab to be printed, or to post on the web. Once that JPEG has served its purpose it's no longer needed. It can be deleted and you only have your master file to worry about if you want to make further adjustments. Just a suggestion, but it's up to you.
